Keeping your Translations on European Servers

We are excited to announce that you can now choose to have your translations on Neurooo.com processed exclusively in Europe.

Indeed, we have deployed an instance of the GPT3.5-turbo model on European servers, managed by Microsoft, in addition to our continuous use of OpenAI’s models and services (US servers).

How does this affect you?

Do you sometimes translate work-related emails or internal company documents?

The confidentiality of your translations is important, especially if you live in Europe or are working for a company based in Europe.

⚠️ When you use ChatGPT directly (or OpenAI services more generally), your data (in this case, the text you translate) is processed on US servers and may be used to enrich their AI models.

By choosing a translation engine in Europe, you can be assured that your text is processed with confidentiality, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and is not used for model training.

How to pick a European model?

On Neurooo.com, click on the engine/model button at the bottom of the translation zone and choose “GPT-3.5 • EU” (see screenshot above). Your data and translations will now be processed exclusively in Europe! 🎉
